About our Security Officers:

  • Each Officer is highly trained, exceedingly capable and form part of an integrated and cohesive support network. Their highly visible presence on site creates an extremely effective deterrent.
  • Undergo a rigorous selection process including a 10 year criminal record check. All are required to pass all the relevant government directives and we ensure they gain all the necessary accreditations to fulfil the constantly evolving legal requirements.
  • Have to undertake a first aid course. Through our ongoing in-house workshops, they also receive invaluable training in public relation skills and non-violent restraint methods.

Key training points include:

  • Patrolling
  • Conflict resolution
  • Customer care
  • Search Procedures
  • The Law
  • Health and Safety
  • Communications
  • Key control
  • Emergency procedures
  • Access control
  • Professionalism
  • Report writing
  • First aid

We also carry out gap analysis via client questionnaires and implement any procedural changes into the next round of team training programmes.

Our Security Officers:

  • Privately and formally employed persons who are paid to enforce company rules and protect your property, assets, and people.
  • Each Officer is uniformed and acts to protect property by maintaining a high visibility presence to deter illegal and inappropriate actions. They observe (either directly, through patrols, or by watching alarm systems and/or video cameras) for signs of crime, fire, vandalism, or disorder; then take action and report any incidents to their manager, client, and emergency services as appropriate.
  • Practice the “detect, deter, observe, and report” methodology.
  • Adhere to the Four Licensing Objectives – Protection of life, Protection of property and premises, Prevention of loss and waste, Prevention and deterring of crime.
  • Take accurate notes, write detailed reports, and perform other tasks as required by the client they are serving.
  • Perform access control at building entrances and vehicle gates; meaning, they ensure that employees and visitors display proper passes or identification before entering the facility.
  • Patrol regularly and use electronic systems to record the frequency of patrols (reports are made available to the client).
